How Our Network Works

A stucco ranch home with a new shingle roof under clear skies in San Jose

Who You Talk To

When you reach out, you are connected with an independent roofing provider in our network. That provider runs its own business. It sets its own schedule and writes its own quotes.

Swordoutcome Roofing makes the introduction. After that, your talks are with the provider. Swordoutcome Roofing does not do the roof work and does not manage the job.

What Happens on the Call

The first call is a simple chat, like a doctor asking where it hurts. The provider wants to understand your roof. Expect questions such as:

  • How old is the roof?
  • What material is on it now?
  • Is the home one story or more?
  • Have you seen leaks, missing pieces, or sagging?

Many providers can then book a visit to look at the roof. Request a callback to check provider availability, since timing varies.

What to Ask a Provider

A few good questions make the choice easier. Try these:

  • Can I have the quote in writing?
  • What does the price include, such as tear-off, underlayment, and cleanup?
  • Which materials do you suggest for my climate?
  • Will the deck be checked, and what if it needs repair?
  • Who handles permits?
  • How long will the job take, and how does weather affect it?

Ask to see proof of license and insurance. Confirm these yourself. Do not just take a word for it.

Why Seasons Matter

A roof job is like painting a fence. Dry days make it easier. In our region, the long dry season is often a good window, while winter rain can slow work. Plan ahead when you can.

You Are in Control

You do not have to say yes to the first provider. You can compare quotes. You can ask for time. A good provider will not rush you.

It also helps to write down what each provider tells you. Note the price, the materials, and the start window. Then side by side, the choice often gets clear.
